DELF for schools

DELF for schools

The DELF diplomas are issued by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French people. These diplomas are valid for life and recognized worldwide !

There are six independent diplomas, which correspond, respectively, to the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (an international benchmark to evaluate the level of proficiency in a language) : A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.

DELF-DALF diplomas are for example required for the entry in the Higher Education in France (B2 or C1 level).

DELF scolaire (DELF for schools) is the name given to DELF examination sessions hosted directly in a school’s premises as part of an agreement between an international school or local educational authorities and the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Oman. Thanks to this agreement, students from our partner schools benefit from very advantageous prices.

In 2024, the DELF scolaire exams will be offered on the following dates:

  • April 30: Public schools A1
  • May 4: A1 and B2 levels
  • December 7: A1 and B2 levels
